About Henry

Henry trained at LAMDA graduating in 2001. Since then he has gained a wealth of experience in film, theatre and voiceover.

Henry Douthwaite (PRINT)-4.jpgOver 20 years in the industry he has worked and appeared for the BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and performed in independent and international films, both shorts and features. He has worked for the National Theatre and on the West End stage, as well as small and large scale theatrical touring.

Henry writes for both stage and screen. In development are 2 theatrical pieces. His first film script entitled Tabula is set to film in 2022.

Henry’s latest audiobook Childish Ways is now available on Audible. As well as other titles.

The horror film Cruel Peter is available on Amazon Prime. Shot on location in Sicily, it reached number 9 in the UK and premiered at the prestigious Taormina Film Festival.
The Bollywood period epic film Laal Kaptaan is now available to watch on Amazon Prime.
Henry can be seen as the lead in episode 7 – Beyond the Aquila Rift in the Emmy – nominated Love, Death and Robots for Netflix.
Henry performed as the father in the Barn Theatre, Cirencester’s adaptation of Michael Morpurgo‘s book The Butterfly Lion a production in which Michael himself came to see and stated “Don’t read the book, watch the play”.
Off Piste – The feature where Henry plays the lead – is now available on Amazon Prime.
